First song: “Why My Chest is Full of Hopeless Hopes” – lyrics by Latvian poet Eduards Veidenbaums (1867-1892), translation by Margus “Contra” Konnula.
Spicetone’s 6Appeal hexaphonic overdrive pedal used by folk-punk singer Kristel Mägedi.
Second song: “When a Vicious Tempest Tears up Your Life…” – lyrics by Latvian poet Eduards Veidenbaums (1867-1892), translation by Margus “Contra” Konnula.
By the way, the guitar (Schecter Ultra) is equipped with Roland GK hexaphonic pickup. Both songs recorded with Hohner Orgaphon 41MH tube amp; in the second song, amp’s spring reverb is used, and the beginning is smoothed with some delay in DAW. Besides SM57’s on amp, we used a three Rode NT series mics, to get natural vocal and room ambience.
